Overview of Today’s Rapid Hotfix Rollout

We are committed to delivering an optimal World of Warcraft experience across multiple game modes—including The War Within, Mists of Pandaria Classic, Season of Discovery, WoW Classic Era, and Hardcore. Our August 13 hotfixes address critical class imbalances, dungeon bugs, quest blockers, PvP and item discrepancies, and content inconsistencies. Some fixes are live immediately; others will become effective following realm restarts or future client updates. Expect continuous enhancements as issues surface. 

Class-Specific Fixes & Talent Adjustments

Druid (Restoration)

  • Keeper the Grove now accurately transfers the splash healing benefit to allies when Swiftmends are boosted by the Ornaments of the Mother Eagle 4-piece bonus.

Hunter

  • The Precise Shots global cooldown reduction now applies correctly even when consumed directly after casting Aimed Shot.

Mage (Sunfury, Arcane, Fire)

  • Sunfury: Gravity Lapse no longer bypasses line-of-sight restrictions.

  • Arcane:

    • Nether Flux no longer maintains a grace period after damage from Arcane Missiles.

    • Cannot be cast while silenced.

    • Corrected the PvP-only reductions for 2-piece and 4-piece set bonuses.

  • Fire: Fix ensures multiple Fireball casts cannot all benefit from a single Flame Accelerant instance. 

Paladin (Protection)

  • Fixed an interaction issue between Sanctuary and Undisputed Ruling: multiple instances of Consecration no longer cause buff loss when the first expires. 

Warlock (Diabolist)

  • The Manaforge Omega 2-piece tier set bonus now delivers the correct damage amount.

Dungeons & Group Gameplay Integrity

  • Fixed a rare issue where Lindormi failed to trade keystones after completing a Mythic+ dungeon within the time limit.

  • In Ara-Kara, City of Echoes, the Cultivated Poison effect no longer applies to the boss when fewer than three targets are present. 

Player vs. Player (PvP) Enhancements

  • Conqueror’s Astral Lacquer and Conqueror’s Astral Varnish can now be acquired using Conquest currency. These upgrades elevate Season 3 class set armor to Season 3 PvP item-level. 

Quest Bug Fixes

  • Resolved a progression block: players on the quest Repossessed! can now successfully continue with Return to the Veiled Market without issue.

Mists of Pandaria Classic Improvements

Item & Progression Fixes

  • August Stone Fragments: Holding cap increased from 45 to 55.

  • Rated Battlegrounds: Non-tank flag carriers now incur 20% additional damage as intended (down from 25%).

  • Reputation Achievements: Exalted Reputations no longer fail to progress correctly.

  • The “Paint It Red” and “Unleash Hell” quests no longer auto-complete; now require completion as initially intended. 

Celestial Dungeons Adjustments

  • Blessing of Chi-Ji: Blazing Song now lasts 15 seconds with increased healing.

  • Blessing of Yu'lon: Reduced Serpent’s Jadefire damage amplification to 3% and decreased periodic damage.

  • Blessing of Xuen: Xuen’s Ferocity can now jump to an additional target and deals higher direct damage.

  • Blessing of Niuzao: Oxen Fortitude duration and per-stack stamina increased by 1.

  • Daily Celestial quests now persist properly when entering random dungeons. 

Other MoP Fixes

  • Mogu’shan Vaults: Sparks of War: K’aresh now appears in the correct quest log section.

  • Crest Transmutation quest restored and accessible again.

  • Void-Touched Ocular: Intellect corrected.

  • Various weapons from Eco-Dome Al’dani now sheathe correctly.

  • Pinnacle Caches now consistently award Resonance Crystals and Kej.

Multi-Category Overlaps & Additional Notes

  • K’aresh:

    • Multiplayer pet battles are now possible.

    • The Void Hunter quest now directs players to the correct location of Leona Darkstrider.

    • Difficulty of Reshanor has been reduced by lowering health and other parameters.

  • Item Enhancement: Season 2 gear from The War Within is now freely convertible via the Revival Catalyst.

  • Quest: Break the Assault now correctly registers kill progress against Shadowguard Infiltrators.

  • Horrific Visions: Boss kills now properly count toward the Worldsoul: Horrific Visions Revisited quest.

  • Crest Transmutation now consistently grants extra Carved Ethereal Crests.

  • Talented Reshii Wraps now function properly within the Wrapped Up quest.
