What Is Legion Remix?

Legion Remix is a time-limited seasonal event in which players create a Timerunner using one of the original 12 Legion classes. You’ll race from level 10 to 80 through the entire Legion expansion—dungeons, raids, story, class campaigns—accelerated and spiced up with fresh gameplay twists.

Event Highlights & Gameplay Innovations

1. Full Legion Experience, Fast-Tracked

Play through all twelve dungeons, a mega-dungeon, five raids, the Legion campaign, World Quests, Class Order Hall quests, Artifact storylines, Legion Assaults, and Invasion Points—all on an accelerated timeline as the Infinite Dragonflight speeds up progression.

2. Evolving Narrative Ties

Continuing from Remix: Mists of Pandaria, Eternus now explores the Legion era to understand the forces that shaped Azeroth’s past and future.

3. Remixed Artifact Weapons

Artifacts replace the cloak and gem system. Choose from trait paths—Nature, Fel, Arcane, Storm, or Holy—with flexibility to respec. The new Quick Assign lets you Ctrl-click to invest up to your available Infinite Power or Ctrl-right-click to refund decisions. Jewelry found along the journey can add or rebalance trait ranks, even pushing paths beyond their usual limits.

4. Heroic World Tier

Borrowing from Diablo-style high-difficulty outdoor content, this tier boosts enemy health, damage, and adds affix-like modifiers—offering tougher challenges and richer rewards.)

5. Timewarped Obelisks

These open-world buffs grant temporary boosts while exploring Legion Remix zones, providing momentary power spikes outside dungeons or raids

6. Timeworn Keystone Dungeons

Mythic+-style dungeons return with original Legion affixes plus four brand-new ones called Eternus’s Trials, ramping up endgame dungeon thrill.

7. Infinites Research System

Pick from daily research missions—kill demons, collect orbs, run zones or dungeons. Over 100 assignments available, and you can bank up to six days of quests. Completing them awards a Cache of Infinite Power, which contains Bronze, power gems, and scrolls. Crucially, upgrades now drop from content rather than being tied to Bronze.

Rewards & Vanity Loot

  • Fel-infused class mounts

  • Azshara-inspired robes

  • Mannoroth’s shield transmog

  • Fel-corrupted Varian’s swords

  • New mounts and transmog sets

  • Legacy rewards: Xavius’s shoulders, Scythe of the Unmaker (including new Fel-green variant), Llothien Prowler, Shackled Ur’zul, Violet Spellwing

  • New Titles: Chronoscholar, the Infernal, of the Infinite Chaos

Not included: Dracthyr Evokers

Timerunner creation only includes the original 12 Legion classes—Evokers are not available due to development scope concerns.

Phased Release Structure

Legion Remix content rolls out in five phases, each dropping every two weeks. You’ll experience:

  1. Skies of Fire – Broken Isles zones and Emerald Nightmare

  2. Rise of the Nightfallen – Suramar storyline, Karazhan, Nighthold, Trial of Valor

  3. Legionfall – Broken Shore assault, Cathedral of Eternal Night, Tomb of Sargeras

  4. Argus Eternal – Argus zones, Seat of the Triumvirate, Antorus raid

  5. Infinite Echoes – Melody of timeline collapse and final farewells

Each phase brings new story beats and raises the max item level. If you wait to jump in once everything is live, you’ll still have ample time to play.
